Job summary

Alliance Animal Health is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join their team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of veterinary experience and be fluent in both Spanish and English. Responsibilities include greeting clients, answering questions, and managing appointments. You will also maintain a compassionate environment while providing support to clients during times of need.

At Inwood Animal Clinic, we specialize in quality veterinary care for pets of all ages. We are available to address any potential issues, so our patients will enjoy a lifetime of great health. Our goal is to deliver top-quality care for every animal that walks through our doors. We'vebeen serving New York City since 2008. We're conveniently located on Broadway between Academy Street and 204th Street

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Greeting clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
  • Fluent in Spanish and English preferred
  • Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
  • Highly organized and possess computer skills
  • Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
Additional Information

Pay range:$17–$23 per hour, depending on experience
