Brawley Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.

In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $15 - 19per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a full-time position, with a 4 x 10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday. Saturday coverage rotates approximately once per month - the practice is closed the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, so weekend commitment is minimal. No on-call requirements..

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 3+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience REQUIRED
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
  • Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Avimark,preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize on a busy shift
  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
  • Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
