Alliance Animal Health's Bensonhurst Veterinary Care in Brooklyn, NY seeks an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary assistant.
• Compassionate, calm, team player with strong communication.
• Ability to properly restrain pets.
• Experience with sample collection, medical histories, labs, and radiographs is a bonus.
• Self-starter eager to advance knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Restrain pets and triage incoming patients.
• Collect and analyze lab samples; perform diagnostic imaging.
• Manage nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases.
• Administer medications and communicate treatment plans to clients.
• Assist in surgical prep and anesthesia management.
