Job summary

All Pets Animal Hospital, a Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant for a part-time role in a busy, four-doctor practice. Prior experience in a veterinary setting is preferred and comfort with a fast-paced environment is essential.

Exotic animal experience is a plus but not required. The successful candidate will work well in a team, communicate effectively with clients, and provide compassionate care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and technicians with appointments and patient care.
• Safely restrain and handle a variety of patients.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with treatments and procedures.
• Obtain and record patient information and histories.
• Provide compassionate care and monitoring of hospitalized patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the practice.
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members.
• Help keep the hospital running smoothly and efficiently.
