Tiger Tails Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team and support exceptional experiences for clients and patients across all aspects of hospital care. This full-time role offers a 4/10 schedule with Monday–Friday availability and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in veterinary assistant or related role preferred.
• Proficiency in safe animal handling and restraint.
• Ability to obtain patient histories, collect weights and vital signs, and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgical procedures, and dentistry.
• Provide safe, gentle patient handling and restraint during outpatient and procedural care.
• Prepare patients, equipment, and treatment areas for appointments and procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients.
