Job summary

Loyal Family Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned AAHA accredited veterinary hospital seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team in Bellevue, WA. You will assist veterinarians and technicians with appointments, provide client education, and help maintain medical records.

Responsibilities include taking radiographs, collecting and processing laboratory samples, and helping with housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary assistant experience is required.
• Strong animal-handling and restraint skills; Fear Free handling is a plus.
• Comfortable working with dogs and cats in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a busy environment.

In this role, you will assist veterinarians and technicians with appointments, provide client education, maintain accurate medical records, take radiographs, and collect and process laboratory samples. You will also share housekeeping responsibilities to help keep our practice clean, organized, and sparkling clean!

We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30am-6pm and Saturday from 9am-4pm and candidates must be able to cover all shifts and have reliable transportation.
