VCA Povar Animal Hospital in East Providence, RI is seeking a full-time Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The hospital offers primary care, illness care, surgery, and dentistry in a collaborative, growth‑minded environment.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) or technician in training.
• Experience with physical examinations, patient assessment, and recovery.
• Ability to assist with anesthesia and radiology as part of a veterinary team.

Compensation:

the pay range for this position is $22-$28/hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status (VA, CVT, VTS)

Potential Schedule:

4 days/week + rotating Saturdays
