Job summary

VCA Roberts Animal Hospital in Hanover, MA is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician with 3+ years of experience to join our 5-doctor GP/Hybrid practice. The role offers a team-oriented environment with opportunities for mentorship and ongoing education.

Compensation ranges from $18.70 to $22.50 per hour, based on skill set and experience, with comprehensive benefits and a commitment to career development within a supportive hospital community.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a veterinary technician.
• Experience in a GP/Hybrid practice is preferred.
• Ability to perform clinical tasks and client communication with compassion.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care.
• Educate clients and communicate clearly.
• Assess patients and monitor clinical status.
• Assist with anesthesia and surgical procedures.
• Perform radiology and dental procedures.
• Place catheters and collect venous samples.
• Conduct routine laboratory work and manage medications.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
