VCA Spanish River Animal Hospital is hiring a full time experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

We are a 2-doctor full service veterinary hospital offering primary care, illness care, surgery and dentistry located in Boca Raton, FL.

Compensation:

$18 - $25 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status

Schedule

Full time: 4 days/week, every other Saturday - Flexible to cover teammate vacation

What You'll Do

Whether you are a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) or technician in training, we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

Veterinary Technician Duties Include

• Physical examinations, patient assessment, and recovery
• Intubation, anesthesia and monitoring
• Hands Free Radiology and diagnostic imaging
• Client communications and discharge
