Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound exams, including 2D scans, Duplex, ABI and Doppler studies, while ensuring high-quality results and patient safety. The role requires solid communication with patients and care teams, plus adherence to department policies.

Qualified candidates have ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS licensure and BLS, with 4–6 years of relevant experience. Full-time, hourly pay at MCP Bluffton MOB.

Qualifications

• Understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Must communicate effectively with patients and health care team.
• Two years of vascular sonography experience preferred; 4–6 years overall related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily vascular ultrasound exams (2D, Duplex, ABI, Doppler) with high diagnostic quality.
• Provide preliminary findings to radiologist and document results.
• Maintain patient safety and adapt to rotating shifts and overtime when required.
• Perform equipment maintenance and quality control tasks as needed.
