Troy's Wrecker Service in Louisville, KY is seeking a Full-time Experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team. Your day starts at our central hub, then you respond to breakdowns and accidents, assess vehicle condition, perform minor roadside fixes when possible, and transport it to the service center or lot.

Schedule is 8 am–8 pm with weekend and on-call responsibilities. On-call drivers take home a company tow truck and rotate, so reliable transport to the shop is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years towing experience required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean driving record required.
• DOT Medical card preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Must live in the Louisville, KY area.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside calls and assess vehicle condition.
• Perform minor roadside fixes when possible.
• Securely tow vehicles to the appropriate service center or lot.
• Operate company tow trucks safely and professionally.

WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:

Schedule: 8 am - 8 pm with weekend and on-call responsibilities

During your on-call rotation, you'll be assigned a company tow truck to take home so you can respond quickly when needed. Our trucks are part of a shared fleet, so they rotate between drivers - meaning you'll return your truck to the shop at the end of your shift cycle. Because of that, reliable personal transportation to and from the shop is essential.

Your day begins at our central hub in Louisville, where you'll gear up to hit the road and serve your community. You'll be the person people call when they're in a tough spot, whether it's a breakdown on a busy highway or an accident scene. You'll expertly evaluate the vehicle's condition, perform minor roadside fixes when possible, and then securely transport it to the necessary service center or lot.

WHAT WE NEED FROM AN EXPERIENCED TOW TRUCK DRIVER:

• 21+ years of age
• 2+ years of towing experience
• Valid driver's license
• A clean driving record
• Dependable and committed to delivering outstanding service
• Having a DOT Medical card is preferred
• Fluent in English
• Must live in Louisville, KY Area
