The Learning Experience - Shorewood is hiring an Experienced Preschool Teacher to craft engaging classroom environments and support children’s learning and growth on a daily basis.

You will implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum with infants to preschoolers, communicate with families, and collaborate with center staff to drive enrollment and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• One year of professional teaching experience preferred or six months of professional teaching experience required.
• Genuine passion for the education and care of children.
• Associate degree or higher in ECE or related field required

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow.
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Infants, Toddlers, or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Partner with the daycare center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals to support your center's success.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
