Job summary

DMC Engineering is hiring Test Systems Engineers to design and implement software and hardware integrators for diverse clients in R&D, validation, and manufacturing testing. You will contribute across project management, technical sales, and delivery while collaborating with customers and colleagues.

The role requires strong programming skills (Python, C++, LabVIEW), hardware familiarity, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or related field
• Minimum GPA of 3.4
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Experience working with hardware, electronics, and instrumentation (such as power supplies, DAQ devices, cameras, sensors, actuators, etc.)
• Experience with programming ( such as Python, C#, C++ , LabVIEW )
• Quickly learns new technologies and applies established patterns and best practices
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and complex system design
• Ability to manage time across multiple projects
• Strong written /oral communication and technical writing skills

Responsibilities

• Designs software, hardware, and integrated systems that exceed customer requirements
• Develops robust applications aligned with DMC programming standards & best practices
• Designs portions of electrical and mechanical assemblies using off-the-shelf and custom hardware
• Supports project planning, system architecture design, testing, commissioning, and documentation
• Troubleshoots and debugs software and hardware systems
• Collaborates with project teams and customers regarding scope and timeline
• Performs programming and engineering at all stages of projects
• Takes ownership of integrated systems or subsystems, combining software and hardware skills
• Mentors and technically advises new team members
• Develops and maintains customer and partner relationships to support repeat business and new opportunities

Compensation

Starting compensation is based on industry , relevantexperienceand location standards.

• Engineer Level I (0-3 years relevant experience): $87,500 - $97,500
• Engineer Level II (3-5+ years relevant experience): $97,500 - $115,000
• Engineering Levels III & Above (5-10 years relevant experience): $115,000 - $165,000+
