Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of professional automotive technician experience.
• Strong A-level capabilities in advanced diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and heavy engine repair.
• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Proficient with electronic diagnostic equipment; CDK dealer management software is a strong plus.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean motor vehicle record acceptable to dealership insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Execute repairs efficiently based on repair orders and in strict accordance with dealership and manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose major vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Utilize electronic diagnostic equipment and specialized service tools to test-drive vehicles and assess components.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors to provide accurate time estimates and report any additional required vehicle services.
• Perform warranty repairs to precise manufacturer guidelines.
