Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. is seeking an Experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer to help clients maximize deductions and to prepare federal and state tax returns using our proprietary software.

At least one season of tax preparation experience is required; two or more preferred. We offer hourly pay of $16.50–$17.00 with performance bonuses and flexible scheduling, including part-time and full-time seasonal roles.

Qualifications

• At least one season of professional tax preparation experience; two or more preferred.
• Knowledge of individual federal and state income tax returns.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid IRS PTIN; we can assist with the application or renewal.

Experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer

Job Responsibilities

As an Experienced Tax Preparer, you'll prepare accurate federal and state tax returns, identify deductions and credits, and deliver exceptional customer service using our proprietary tax preparation software.

What We're Looking For
