Jackson Hewitt - Headquarters is seeking Experienced Tax Preparers for seasonal work in New Jersey. You will leverage tax expertise and client services in a fast-paced setting, delivering accurate returns and building client relationships.

The role offers flexible schedules, opportunities for advancement, a $150 sign-on bonus, and ongoing training with potential for full-time conversion. Prior tax experience is valuable, and you can grow with the team as demand peaks.

Qualifications

• 2+ seasons of previous experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns
• Passion for providing extraordinary customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to learn
• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or taxes

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment
• Assist clients with completion of tax returns
• Leverage tax knowledge to help clients maximize refunds
