Job summary

Jackson Hewitt - ERY is seeking experienced tax preparers for a seasonal role in Pearland, TX. You will assist clients with tax returns, ensure accuracy, and deliver quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible schedules and a $150 sign-on bonus make this an attractive entry into seasonal tax work. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 2+ seasons of previous experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
• Passion for providing extraordinary customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to learn
• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or taxes

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service in a seasonal tax environment
• Prepare and review individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns
• Maintain accurate client records and communicate clearly with clients
• Participate in training and development opportunities to stay compliant and up-to-date
