Job Description: Seasonal Experienced Tax Preparer

What you'll do here:
- Provide expert guidance, explain, prepare, and complete accurate tax forms for clients, including multiyear, multistate, and year-end forms.
- Offer IRS audit support and ensure proper e-filing, printing, signing, and submission of returns.
- Conduct face-to-face tax interviews.
- Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and promote additional services.
- Answer client calls and questions promptly, offering tax planning advice.
- Process client payments and ensure timely deposits.
- Engage in marketing and business development efforts.
- Support team objectives through collaboration and teamwork.
- Mentor and support teammates, potentially acting as a lead.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
Skills you'll bring for success:
- At least 2 seasons of tax experience.
- Experience with individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
- Passion for exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Successful completion of Jackson Hewitt Tax Knowledge Assessment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (preferred).
- Additional certifications such as Field Instructor, Remote Support, or Call Center are a plus.
- Experience with tax planning and audit support is preferred.
- CPA or Enrolled Agent license is a bonus.
- PTIN Certification required.
