What you'll do here:

As a Seasonal Experienced Tax Preparer, you will guide clients, prepare, and complete accurate tax forms, including multiyear, multistate, and year-end forms. You will also support IRS audits, e-file returns, and provide copies for client review and signatures.

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews
• Drive business growth and client retention
• Answer client calls via our call center
• Address tax questions and future planning
• Process client payments and deposits
• Engage in marketing and business generation
• Support team efforts and collaborate
• Mentor and lead teammates when needed
• Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

Skills you'll bring for success:

• 2+ seasons of tax experience
• Experience with individual, trust, and partnership returns
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Successful completion of Jackson Hewitt Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (preferred)
• Additional certifications like Field Instructor, Remote Support, or Call Center are a plus
• Tax planning and audit support experience (preferred)
• CPA or Enrolled Agent license (a bonus)
• PTIN Certification required
