Job description

Experienced Tank Welder Foreman - Industrial Construction - Traveling

We are seeking an experienced Tank/Welding Foreman to join our team. You will help drive high-quality and on-schedule tank completions through efficient management of people and equipment across various industrial construction projects nationwide.

Locations across the US

Subsistence paid depending on location: $500 to $700 weekly

Responsibilities

Safety

• Model and ensure safe work practices at all times, compliant with GBI and customer requirements

People

• Provide daily leadership, fostering a strong work ethic and positive morale
• Handle employee discipline and coaching in a timely manner
• Recognize employee accomplishments daily

Process

• Ensure job site organization and housekeeping goals are met
• Ensure crew adherence to all company and customer policies and procedures

Production

• Help drive crew productivity
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in construction tanks
• Strong safety performance and proper PPE use
• Current TWIC card
• Dependable work practices and strong work ethic
• Certification in forklift, crane operation, and welding techniques
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
• Effective communication skills in English
• Flexible schedule and ability to travel
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs/ladders, work in confined spaces and in inclement weather
• Pass pre-employment and random drug tests, physical exam, and background check
