Northbay is seeking a Professional Surgical Coder to accurately translate medical procedures and diagnoses into ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes for professional charges in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

The ideal candidate will have a CPC, CCS, or CCS-P certification, five or more years of professional coding experience, and proficiency with EMR/encoder systems, ensuring adherence to coding guidelines and regulations.

Formación

• Five or more years of professional fee coding experience including surgical coding in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Certifications CPC/CCS/CCS-P are required per job postings.
• Proficiency with EMR/encoder systems and coding guidelines is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Translate medical procedures and diagnoses into ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes for professional charges in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Communicate with providers via email, query, phone, or in person to discuss coding requirements.
• Adhere to AAPC/AMA CPT Guidelines, ICD-10-CM CMS, and Northbay Healthcare coding guidelines.
