Job summary

Worley, a global leader in energy, chemicals and resources, seeks a Structural Welder for on-site work in Louisiana. You will weld and assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, and piping systems, applying knowledge of geometry and metal properties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Ability to plan layouts, select equipment and weld using various processes.
• Willingness to inspect welds and perform finishing

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layouts, assembly, and welding per geometry and material properties.
• Operates GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW or SMAW welding processes as needed.
• Bolts, clamps, and welds metal components for piping systems and structures.
• Preheats pieces, cleans weld joints, and repairs welds as required.
• Inspects bead size and weld quality; performs additional tasks as needed
