Job summary

Venture Solar is seeking a Residential Solar Installer to join our Hicksville-based installation crew. You’ll assemble racking, mount hardware, and solar modules on pitched roofs, and handle the structural layout of the array under guidance of an Electrician.

Expect outdoor work, safety-first culture, and 40+ hour weeks with overtime opportunities. Qualified candidates have solar installation experience, comfort with heights, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with power tools.

Qualifications

• Previous Solar Installation experience and comfort with heights/roof work.
• Safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Proficiency with power tools and a pragmatic, 'get it done right' attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and availability for 40+ hour weeks.

Responsibilities

• Install racking, mounting hardware, and solar modules on pitched roofs.
• Handle the structural mounting and physical layout of the solar array.
• Assist with conduit runs and basic wiring under the guidance of the Electrician.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions with safety as a priority.
