Job summary

Venture Solar is expanding its residential solar installer team in Hicksville, NY. We seek an Experienced Installer who thrives on rooftop work and is ready to join a full-time crew responsible for installing racking, mounting hardware, and solar modules on pitched roofs.

You will assist with conduit runs and basic wiring under supervision, ensuring safe, high-quality installations. The role requires previous solar installation experience, comfort with heights, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Previous solar installation experience required.
• Comfort with heights/roof work.
• Valid, clean driver’s license.
• Willingness to work 40+ hours per week.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

Location: Daily reporting to Hicksville, NY

Residential Solar Installer

• Assembly: Install racking, mounting hardware, and solar modules on pitched roofs.

• Mechanical: Handle the structural mounting and physical layout of the solar array.

• Support: Assist with conduit runs and basic wiring under the guidance of the Electrician.

• Requirement: Previous Solar Installation experience and comfort with heights/roof work.
