Job summary

TMBA, one of the largest independent Control Systems Engineering and Support firms in the New York Metropolitan area, seeks a Senior/Software Engineer with HVAC or digital controls experience to join its building automation team. You will program and configure Building Automation Systems, design user interfaces, and support installation and maintenance at client sites across the NY metro area.

The role requires 2+ years of BMS programming experience and proficiency with code-based languages,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years BMS programming experience.
• Experience with any major code-based programming language.
• Proficient with TCP/IP networks and Windows 10/Server platforms setup and maintenance.
• Demonstrable skills in troubleshooting, attention to detail and customer relations.
• Knowledge of Schneider Electric products or Tridium is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Programming and configuring Building Automation Systems in a proprietary object-oriented programming language.
• Designing user interfaces for Building Automation Systems to communicate system status and feedback to end users.
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of video management and card access systems.
• Troubleshooting and fixing issues for existing customer systems.
