Job summary

Acura of Avon, part of Lorensen Auto Group, is seeking experienced service technicians to join our growing team.

Qualifications

• Must have clean & valid driver's license.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Have your own tools.
• Experience with Honda/Acura preferred but all will be considered.
• Maintain a positive attitude and teamwork focus.

Responsibilities

• Focus on customer satisfaction.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Stay up to date on available factory training.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate with the Service Manager regarding recommended repairs.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Focus on Customer Satisfaction

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Stay up to date on all available Factory Training
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• "Fix it right the first time"
• Communicate directly with the ServiceManager, in reference to recommended repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Maintain Skill Levels
• Must have a strong sense of urgency
• Would prefer Honda or Acura experience but all will be considered.
