Job summary

Acura of Avon in Canton, CT is seeking a skilled Flat Rate Service Technician to join our team full-time. You will diagnose and repair Acura and other vehicles to ensure peak performance while delivering exceptional service to customers.

No dealership experience is required. You will perform routine maintenance, use diagnostic equipment, and communicate repair recommendations clearly to colleagues and customers as part of a dynamic service team.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of experience as a Service Technician.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent customer service and communication with customers and colleagues.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on Acura vehicles.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to accurately diagnose and repair vehicle issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures and protocols.
• Communicate effectively with your colleagues regarding recommendations of repair and maintenance, provide video on a multi point inspection.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge through training and education programs provided by Acura.

Job Summary: Acura of Avon, a reputable automotive dealership located in Canton, Connecticut, is seeking a skilled Flat Rate Service Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. NO DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Acura as well as other vehicles to ensure they are running at their peak performance. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service.
