Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Communication:
    • Greet customers, establish rapport, and understand their service needs.
    • Conduct visual inspections or road tests to gather information.
    • Explain service recommendations, repair options, and costs clearly.
    • Obtain customer authorization for repairs.
    • Provide updates and address customer questions promptly.
    • Explain repairs and charges in detail.
    • Follow up post-service to ensure satisfaction.
  2. Service Process Management:
    • Schedule appointments based on technician availability.
    • Write detailed service orders.
    • Communicate with technicians about customer concerns.
    • Track progress and ensure timely completion.
    • Process payments and maintain records.
  3. Technical Knowledge and Parts Management:
    • Understand automotive systems and repairs.
    • Stay updated on technologies and procedures.
    • Research parts availability and pricing.
  4. Additional Responsibilities:
    • Uphold safety regulations.
    • Assist with basic inspections or vehicle prep if needed.
Qualifications
  • High Hospitality Quotient (kindness, optimism, curiosity, work ethic, empathy, integrity).
  • 2+ years proven experience as a Service Advisor; GMC experience preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Understanding of automotive terminology and mechanics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with trust-building skills.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with dealership management software.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
