Job summary

Midwood Smokehouse in Charlotte is seeking friendly, energetic servers to join our high-volume Central Ave team. You will take orders, deliver hospitality, build relationships with regulars, and help ensure a smooth dining experience for every guest.

This role offers substantial earnings potential, flexible scheduling, and growth opportunities within FS Food Group as we uphold award-winning, all-hickory-smoked barbecue and Southern hospitality.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and input into the POS.
• Make guests feel welcome and personally attended to.
• Build relationships with regulars and remember preferences.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming dining area and assist as needed to ensure smooth service.
• Communicate regularly with guests and anticipate their needs.

Pay: Up to $900.00 per week income based on Full-Time availability

The Midwood Smokehouse - Central Ave. team are seeking dynamic servers to join our high-volume, scratch kitchen and help us maintain our reputation as one of best BBQ restaurants for years to come.

Server Responsibilities Include:

• Make all of our guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
• Build relationships with regulars, remembering their names, preferences, and needs.
• Make genuine recommendations that you feel your guests will enjoy.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system (Toast POS experience is a plus!)
• Maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant environment.
• Communicate regularly with your tables, anticipate their needs, and provide exceptional service by refilling drinks, clearing tables, and exceeding guest expectations.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.
