Securitas US Business Unit in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking an Experienced Security Officer for a full-time position. You will help maintain a safe environment through access control, patrols, and vigilant observation, while enforcing client site regulations and delivering professional customer service.

Ideal candidates show excellent communication, reliable teamwork, and the ability to stay calm during emergencies.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 1 year of Security experience required.

Experienced Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Wage Range: $19.50-$21.50/HR

Pay and schedule are dependent on location.

Openings at various locations with various schedules available.

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.

• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
