Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Security Guard for a full‑time role in the Lincoln area. The position involves monitoring the premises, controlling access, patrolling multiple sites, and enforcing site regulations to protect people and assets.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, the ability to work independently, and a calm demeanor under pressure. Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and pass background/drug screening.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or guarding roles preferred.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and enforce site rules to maintain safety.
• Conduct access control and perform patrols of assigned locations.

Experienced Security Guard - Full Time

Primary Location: Kansas City, MO

Wage: $18.62/HR

The Security Guard helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 1 year of security experience.
• Driver Certified.
• Kansas City, MO Commission Card required.
