The Personnel Department Ltd. Dba is seeking multiple Experienced Riggers for a large-scale equipment-moving project near Georgetown, TX.

The role requires unpacking, rigging, moving, and positioning sensitive racks safely on a structured team, with a September 1 to October 31, 2026 window. Successful candidates will have rigging or machinery-moving experience, with a focus on safety, protocol adherence, and mentoring less-experienced teammates.

Qualifications

  • Previous professional rigging, machinery-moving, equipment installation, construction, or industrial project experience.
  • Experience safely moving and positioning heavy or sensitive equipment.
  • Experience using pallet jacks, rigging equipment, and standard hand tools.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace safety and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to interpret and follow detailed work instructions and project protocols.
  • Strong judgment and awareness around equipment and trades.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
  • Strong communication, reliability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to mentor entry-level team members.
  • Availability for Sep 1 – Oct 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Unpack, rig, move, and position equipment racks safely and accurately.
  • Use electric pallet jacks, rigging equipment, and hand tools.
  • Position equipment per project requirements.
  • Complete or support minor equipment connection work as needed.
  • Follow instructions and project protocols from Head Rigger and client.
  • Collaborate with client-side engineers and project team members.
  • Support and guide entry-level riggers daily.
  • Help meet daily equipment-moving targets and deadlines.
  • Identify safety concerns and take action.
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
  • Represent the organization with professionalism and reliability.

Experienced Rigger

Georgetown, TX | $32.00 - 40.00 per hour | Temporary Project

Are you an experienced Rigger who takes pride in completing complex equipment moves safely, accurately, and efficiently? Our client is seeking multiple Experienced Riggers to support an upcomingproject near Georgetown, Texas.

In this role, you will work as part of a structured project team responsible for unpacking, moving, and positioning sensitive equipment racks within a large client facility. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong rigging or machinery-moving experience who can take ownership of their work, follow established protocols, and support less-experienced team members.

The project is anticipated to run from September 1 through October 31, 2026, with the possibility of training beginning earlier.

  • Maintain a professional, organized, and safety-focused work environment

  • Represent the organization with professionalism, accountability, and reliability

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Previous professional rigging, machinery-moving, equipment installation, construction, or industrial project experience

  • Demonstrated experience safely moving and positioning heavy or sensitive equipment

  • Experience using pallet jacks, rigging equipment, and standard hand tools

  • Strong knowledge of workplace safety and compliance requirements

  • Ability to interpret and follow detailed work instructions and project protocols

  • Strong judgment and awareness when working around equipment and other trades

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

  • Relevant rigging certification is strongly preferred
