Homestead Maintenance & Remodeling Inc is seeking a highly skilled Residential Painter to join our field operations for remodeling projects. This full-time role focuses on interior and exterior painting, including prep, priming, cutting-in, rolling, and finishing, with additional duties in drywall finishing and light carpentry.

The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience, owns reliable transportation, and holds a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in residential painting and remodeling.
• Expert-level skills in interior and exterior painting applications and surface prep.
• Additional proficiency in drywall repair/finishing, trim work, and cabinetry is a strong plus.
• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, clean workmanship, and a commitment to quality.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of interior and exterior residential painting, including prep, priming, cutting-in, rolling, and finishing.
• Patch, sand, and prep drywall surfaces for painting or other finishes.
• Ensure clean lines, smooth finishes, and color accuracy on every job.
• Install and touch up trim, baseboards, and moldings as needed.
• Assist with related remodeling tasks, including light framing, drywall installation and finishing, cabinetry, and surface prep.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure protection of property at all times.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines while working on job sites.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and fellow team members to maintain project timelines and customer satisfaction.
