Job summary

MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore is seeking a Rapid Response Team Registered Nurse to provide critical care expertise across the hospital, responding to rapid and emergency calls and supporting bedside clinicians.

As part of the Rapid Response Team you will assess evolving conditions, develop care plans, and coordinate with nursing and provider teams to stabilize patients and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience.
• Charge RN experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Compact State RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans; coordinate with nursing team to implement interventions.

Rapid Response Team Registered Nurse

Join the Rapid Response Team at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital and bring your critical care expertise beyond the walls of the ICU. In this role, you will respond to rapid response and emergency response calls throughout the hospital.

As a member of the Rapid Response Team, you will work closely with nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary teams across the hospital to support patient care and provide clinical expertise during urgent situations.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience
• Charge RN experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

This position has a hiring range of

USD $36.50 - USD $60.34 /Hr.
