Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join Chestnut Outpatient Surgical Services at Baystate Medical Center, a Magnet-designated hospital renowned for nursing excellence.

You will care for adult and pediatric surgical patients, collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical techs, and residents, and participate in ongoing education and simulation training, including AORN reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license (or eligibility for licensure reciprocity).
• American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience, preferably in surgical services.
• Diploma in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.

SCHEDULE:

Schedule: Full-Time, 9 hour shifts, 36 hrs per week; rotating days

Hours: 7A-4:30P

On-Call Requirement: Participation in a rotating on-call schedule

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license (or eligibility for licensure reciprocity)
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required, preferably in surgical services
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Education

• Diploma in Nursing (Required)

Certifications

• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, Registered Nurse - State of Massachusetts

Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
