Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associates or BSN (BSN preferred).
• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact (Texas RN license within 90 days of hire).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.
• 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience as an RN in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for assigned patients to ensure quality care.
• Provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the applicable age populations.
• Use nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate) with independent judgment.
• Collaborate with care team to maintain professional nursing standards in the clinical setting.
