Job summary

Sugar Land Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a motivated Registered Dental Assistant to join our clinical team in Sugar Land, TX. You will support the dentist, help ensure exceptional patient experiences, and contribute to a high-standard care environment.

As a patient and clinician advocate, you will work to deliver the best possible treatment, maintain sterilization and safety protocols, and help patients feel at ease throughout their visits.

Qualifications

• Registered Dental Assistant credential or license where required.
• Experience with patient care and dental procedures is preferred.
• Ability to maintain a clean, sterile environment and support clinical efficiency.
• Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA guidelines and dental board regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for optimal treatment.
• Maintain a clean, sterile operatory and take x-rays/intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment per regulatory guidelines.

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Salary Information

$18.25-$25.50 / Hourly
