Job summary

CoolSys is hiring for a construction/installation role in the HVAC and refrigeration sector. The position involves piping cooler boxes, wiring, pipe hangers, welding copper pipes, and assisting foremen on supermarket refrigeration projects.

Candidates should have a 5+ year construction background, HVAC/refrigeration experience, and EPA Type II certification. A valid driver's license and a good driving record are expected. Health benefits and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; trade or technical school classes preferred.
• 5+ years of construction industry experience; hands-on refrigeration, electrical or fixtures construction.
• EPA Certification (Type II) required.
• Experience in copper brazing and remodeling is advantageous.
• Good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provides support on construction job by piping cooler boxes and refrigeration cases, including electrical wiring as required to complete the project.
• Provides the required installation of pipe hangers as directed by the foreman.
• Provides construction support by welding and slip hosing copper pipes, and assists the foreman as needed on the job.
• Provides support by handing cooler box coils and installing new supermarket refrigeration systems or remodeling existing supermarket refrigeration systems.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
