Housekeeping Quality Assurance Inspector (Guest Room Inspections)
Full‑time position at The Burks Companies, Inc. (TBC), starting at $18.00/hr.
Schedule: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift

A Day in the Life of a Guest Room Quality Control Inspector
- Inspect cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, elevators, and fitness center to ensure consistent quality.
- Evaluate and rate cleaning performance immediately after each room is cleaned, reporting results to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Report room discrepancies related to maintenance problems to the supervisor.
Job Duties
- Respond promptly to customer needs and special guest requests.
- Treat people with respect, keep commitments, and uphold organizational values.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work to ensure quality and maintain cleanliness of storage room and stock carts.
- Meet productivity standards and complete work within approved budgets and time.
- Observe safety and security procedures, report unsafe conditions, and use chemicals and equipment properly.
- Handle keys following key control policies.
- Maintain consistent attendance and arrive on time for meetings and appointments.
- Volunteer readily, ask for and offer help when needed, and confirm completion of room assignments with supervisor before leaving.
- Report lost and found items, maintenance issues, “Do Not Disturb” and “Refuse Service” status to supervisor.
Qualifications for a Housekeeping Quality Control Inspector
- 21 years old or older.
- Knowledge of computers.
- Good command of English; bilingual a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of hotel services.
- Professional image and confident, team‑building personality.
- Detail oriented; able to organize, prioritize, and follow up.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of guest information.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary.
- Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or QA Inspector is a positive.
- Hands‑on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Stamina to handle physical demands of the job.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Six months previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
Salary: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour.
