Job summary

Sese Industrial is seeking an ASSEMBLER/PRODUCTION OPERATOR to join our greenfield operation in the Tennessee region. You will ensure the proper assembly of components generated by Sese, following work instructions and meeting TAKT time with support from the Line Leader and Supervisor.

You will participate in quality control, identify defective parts, maintain a clean workstation, and contribute to 5S, shop floor management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • GED or High School Diploma required; associate degree preferred.
  • 1 year manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
  • High motivation to meet changing requirements and processes.
  • Qualified in Assembly Line Operations as per role.
  • Basic oral/written instruction comprehension.
  • Awareness of Sese Quality Program and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components at multiple workstations following procedures and TAKT timing.
  • Identify defective parts or NOK and report to Line Leader or QA.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
  • Perform Level 1 maintenance checks and report issues.
  • Support training of new hires and contribute to continuous improvement (5S, Shop Floor).
  • Promote and apply health, safety, and environmental rules.

Description

Sese Industrial is a greenfield operation that has an immediate opening for Assembler/Production Operator. He/she will ensure the proper assembly of all components generated by Sese, following applicable work instructions and within time requirements. Assembler must ensure the proper functioning of the operation with support from the Production Line Leader & Supervisor.

  • Ensure the inclusion of any obtained organizational knowledge into the QMS.
  • Meeting production program in time and form (Just-In-Sequence-Production).
  • Perform the assembly at various workstations in accordance with the procedures, in compliance with the TAKT time during normal operation and ability to work in “Back Up” mode.
  • Identify and contain defective parts or NOK, and report the incident to the Line Leader, Quality Tech or Production Supervisor
  • Ensure self-control according to the defined procedures and verify operations carried out upstream; report defects found team leader, place product on hold if necessary.
  • Perform Level 1 maintenance checks.
  • Support teammates and participate in technical interventions.
  • Participate in the continuous process (5 S, Shop Floor Management) improvement
  • Perform the tasks assigned in quality and in time.
  • Order and cleanliness of their position and its environment
  • Respect "quality and environment" procedures and the rules of health and safety
  • Learn and Qualify in multiple operations.
  • Contribute to the training of new hires.
  • Account of the incidents - fill out pre-printed documents.
  • Ensuring the implementation of good practices.
  • Promoting and implementing continuous improvement in the production process come up with 1.5 ideas or more.
  • Additional responsibilities and activities may be added on a need basis, as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Minimum education requirement: GED or High School Diploma (associate degree or higher preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • High tolerance towards working under pressure.
  • Personal judgment and independency to take actions.
  • Qualified in Assembly Line Operations
  • High motivation to confront challenges and changes.
  • Conditioned independency (following process rules, norms and company policy).
  • Oral and written ability to understand instructions.
  • Dexterity - sense of Visual control – team
  • Must be able to distinguish red/green/blue colors.
  • Must complete and receive passing scores for all pre-employment training.
  • Logical-analytical thinking: Ability to make decisions that could affect the company.
  • Become aware of the Sese Quality Program.

  • Able to lift 25 lbs. repeatedly and 50 lbs. occasionally.
