Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks an Experienced Production Operations Specialist (Electro-Mechanical) for our El Segundo, CA facility. The role focuses on developing and maintaining manufacturing processes, scheduling, and coordinating capital expenditures to optimize production quality.

The position is 2nd shift, onsite, with strict eligibility for a U.S. security clearance. Candidates must meet COI requirements and be willing to relocate if necessary.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• More than 1 year operating specialized equipment such as Electrodynamic shakers (vibration table), Thermal Vacuum Chambers and/or Thermal Cycling Chambers.
• More than 1 year of experience leading teams.

Position Responsibilities:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 2nd shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• More than 1 year of experience operating specialized equipment such as Electrodynamic shakers (vibration table), Thermal Vacuum Chambers and/or Thermal Cycling Cambers
• More than 1 year of experience leading teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel
• Experience aggregating, visualizing, and analyzing data to make informed decisions (i.e. SQL, Excel, PowerBI, etc.)

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.
