Experienced Production Operations Specialist (Electro-Mechanical)

Location and Scheduling

El Segundo, California. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Shift: 2 (United States of America)

Position Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing processes and methods that comply with company policies and procedures, improves production efficiency, and optimizes product quality
• Monitors, assesses, and provides status on production progress, actions, issue resolution, and support needs
• Investigates product defects and production inefficiencies and develops solutions to reduce/mitigate
• Conducts staffing and cost analyses
• Coordinates and prepares justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation
• Represents manufacturing on production related issues

Basic Qualifications

• More than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• More than 1 year of experience operating specialized equipment such as Electrodynamic shakers (vibration table), Thermal Vacuum Chambers and/or Thermal Cycling Cambers
• More than 1 year of experience leading teams
• Experience in the aerospace industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel
• Experience aggregating, visualizing, and analyzing data to make informed decisions (i.e. SQL, Excel, PowerBI, etc.)

Typical Education/Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.
