Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking an Experienced Production Operations Specialist (Environmental Testing) to join our El Segundo, California team. You will develop, implement and maintain manufacturing processes, monitor production progress and quality, and investigate defects to drive continuous improvement for critical space programs.

This 2nd‐shift, 100% onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in the aerospace industry.
• Education/experience typically includes a Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• Conducts staffing and cost analyses.

Work Arrangement

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift

This position is for 2nd shift.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications

• More than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• More than 1 year of experience leading teams
• Experience in the aerospace industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel
• Experience aggregating, visualizing, and analyzing data to make informed decisions (i.e. SQL, Excel, PowerBI, etc.)
• Hands on experience with Component level testing (Vibe, Shock, Thermal Cycling, functional testing, etc.)

Typical Education/Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.
