Job summary

The Boeing Company in Hazelwood, MO is seeking an Associate Procurement Agent to join our Government (BGS-G) team. The role focuses on procuring goods and services, researching suppliers, and processing orders to meet customer needs in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate on sourcing strategies, contribute to contract documentation, and support negotiations while balancing cost, quality, and schedule. A minimum of 1 year in procurement or related field is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or supplier management.
• 1+ years’ experience with interacting directly with suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Associate Procurement Agent Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Global Services, Government (BGS-G) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent to join our Transactional and Data Cleanup Organization in Hazelwood, MO.

Position Responsibilities

• Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement of goods and services
• Responsible for researching, sourcing, evaluating and processing orders to purchase services, supplies and equipment based on price, service, quality and warranty to meet customer needs
• Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply, optimizing execution of the supply chain while balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand
• Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
• Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or supplier management
• 1+ years’ experience with interacting directly with suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• More than 2 years of experience with various contract types for example: Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc
• More than 2 years of experience working across multiple programs and locations
• More than 2 years working proposal packages in ACQ or PMTT
• Bachelor’s Degree – Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field of study
• Experience working in manufacturing, aerospace, defense or a complex supply chain environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple competing priorities

Pay

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $69,700 – $94,300
