Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Procurement professional to integrate program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. The role involves negotiating pricing and contract terms, preparing binding agreements, and managing risk, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.

The ideal candidate has over 1 year of experience in supplier management or procurement, familiarity with FAR, and a preference for a bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with supplier management/procurement
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
• 1+ year experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) preferred
• Typically 6+ years related work experience or relevant military experience

Requirements

• More than 1 year of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred)
• More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer (preferred)
• More than 1 year of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) (preferred)Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience (desired)
• Ability to obtain access to a NASA facility (for Kennedy Space Center, FL)
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (must be U.S. Citizen)
