Key Responsibilities

As a Preschool Teacher, you’ll promote preschool readiness, emotional intelligence, and social skill development—while working closely with families.

Curriculum & Instruction

• Implement lesson plans based on developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and individualized instruction.
• Lead circle time, group activities, learning centers, and classroom transitions.
• Foster early academic skills including pre‑literacy, numeracy, fine motor skills, and language development.
• Utilize observation and assessment tools to track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

Family Communication & School Collaboration

• Maintain open communication with families through daily updates, progress reports, and scheduled conferences.
• Support and attend family engagement events, parent education sessions, and school celebrations.
• Collaborate with school administrators and fellow teachers to ensure alignment with school goals and state licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of classroom experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center.
• Proven ability to lead classroom activities and routines with confidence and consistency.
• Strong knowledge of child development, learning domains, and early intervention best practices.
• Effective communication skills with children, families, and co‑workers.
• A love for young children and a commitment to their growth and well‑being.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with curriculum models such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori is preferred, as our proprietary curriculum incorporates elements from both approaches.
• Knowledge of state child care licensing regulations and quality standards.
• Background in inclusive education, sensory integration, or differentiated instruction is a plus.
