USMD Hospital at Arlington, LP is seeking Prep Cooks to support daily kitchen operations. You will assist with precise ingredient preparation, labeling, washing, and sorting to ensure efficient meal service for internal and external customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a Food Handler Certification, and 3+ years of cafeteria experience, preferably in a hospital. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Completing prep list tasks as instructed by kitchen leaders.
• Labeling and stocking ingredients on accessible shelves.
• Washing, chopping and sorting fruits, vegetables, and meats.
• Measuring quantities of seasonings and ingredients.
• Parboiling foods, reducing sauces, and starting first steps in dishes.
• Cleaning dishes and utensils; maintaining kitchen sanitation.
• Tracking ingredient inventory and assisting with resupply orders.
• Adhering to nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
