A leading restaurant franchise in Gardner, Kansas, is looking for an Experienced Porter to ensure the restaurant's cleanliness and safety. As part of the team, you'll maintain high standards for the dining areas, assist with daily operations, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and communication skills. • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of dining areas, restrooms, kitchen areas, and exterior grounds.
• Support general restaurant upkeep, including parking lot maintenance.
• Assist team members with operational tasks for a smooth guest experience.
• Support general restaurant upkeep including parking lot maintenance and exterior presentation.
• Assist with maintenance tasks and report facility issues to management.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

Restaurant Cleanliness & Maintenance

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of dining areas, restrooms, kitchen areas, and exterior grounds
• Sweep, mop, sanitize, and maintain floors and surfaces throughout the restaurant
• Empty trash and recycling containers and maintain waste areas

Facility Upkeep

• Support general restaurant upkeep including parking lot maintenance, patio cleaning, and exterior presentation
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks and report any facility issues to management

Support Daily Operations

• Assist team members with operational tasks to ensure a smooth guest experience
• Maintain stocked cleaning supplies and ensure sanitation procedures are followed

Health & Safety Standards

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times
• Help ensure the restaurant meets cleanliness and health inspection standards

Open Communication with Management

• Communicate maintenance needs, safety concerns, or operational issues promptly to management

Team Support

• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment
