Ray and Son Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking anExperienced Plumber for commercial construction projects in Nashville and Valdosta, GA. The role involves installing new plumbing and mechanical systems on commercial sites, reading drawings, and coordinating a crew up to six people.

Applicants should have 4+ years in commercial plumbing, a valid license (desired), and willingness to work overtime. Hourly pay ranges from $30 to $38, with company benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial plumbing experience.
• Mechanical experience.
• Valid plumbing license - desirable.
• Medical gas certification - desirable.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Owns all hand tools (company provides power tools).
• Willing to work on lifts or scaffolds.
• Mentor/guide younger team members.
• Boiler class 3 certification - desirable.
• OSHA 10 or higher - desirable.

Responsibilities

• Commercial new plumbing and mechanical systems installation.
• New construction and some renovation work.
• Demo work of existing plumbing systems when necessary.
• Install piping systems using cast iron, PVC sanitary & domestic water, and other materials.
• Sweat & pro-press copper systems; groove piping systems.
• Install sanitary, grease waste, venting, domestic water, fixtures, and equipment.
• Read drawings, specs, schematics and provide crew management.
• Crew layout for up to 6 people.

Experienced Plumber - Commercial Construction | $30.00 - $38.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Hours: 40 + hours per week | Monday through Friday | available overtime

Locations: Nashville and Valdosta GA

Job Duties

• Commercial New plumbing and mechanical systems installation
• New construction and some renovation work
• Demo work of existing plumbing systems when necessary
• Install different piping systems using various materials such as service-weight cast iron, PVC sanitary & domestic water systems, acid waste, no-hub cast iron
• Sweat & pro-press copper systems, groove piping systems of copper, stainless steel, and carbon steel & fusion piping systems
• Installation of sanitary, grease waste, indirect/special waste, storm, venting systems, domestic water, plumbing fixtures, and equipment
• read drawings, specs, schematics and provide crew management
• Crew layout for up to 6 people

Qualifications

• 4 + years of commercial plumbing experience
• Mechanical experience
• A valid plumbing license - Desired
• Medical gas certification - Desired
• Can lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Owns all hand tools (power tools provided by R&S)
• Willing to work on lifts or scaffolds as needed
• Encourages the "next generation" and easily shares their knowledge and skills
• A boiler class 3 certification - Desired
• OSHA 10 training certification or higher - Desired

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.

Salary: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
