Hydro North America is hiring an Industrial PLC Programmer in North Liberty, IN to support 3pm-11pm shifts. You will program and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, integrate HMIs, sensors, and actuators, and work with engineering on system upgrades.

You will train junior technicians, promote reliability through CRI initiatives, and occasionally assist mechanical technicians. Relevant experience with Allen Bradley Logix/Studio 5000 is preferred.

Formación

• 3–5 years hands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Ability to modify, troubleshoot, and validate PLC ladder logic for improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Program and configure PLC-controlled systems safely.
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC logic using ladder logic and function block.
• Install, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems in industrial settings.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems and components.
• Integrate PLCs with HMIs, sensors, and actuators.
• Collaborate with engineering on upgrades and improvements.
• Train junior technicians and provide technical support.
• Utilize predictive measures to improve equipment reliability via CRI.
• Implement and support continuous reliability improvement standards.
• This position is a multi-craft role and will support mechanical technicians ~30% of the time.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and other quickly developed conditions.
